A high-ranking judicial delegation from Sierra Leone, led by Honourable Chief Justice Komba Kamanda, arrived in Cairo on Saturday, January 25, 2025, to attend the Eighth Cairo High-Level Meeting of Chief Justices and Presidents of African Constitutional and Supreme Courts and Constitutional Councils.

The delegation, which includes Honourable Justice Tonia Barnett of the Court of Appeal, was warmly welcomed at Cairo International Airport with official courtesies. The Sierra Leonean delegation traveled aboard Ethiopian Airlines, landing in Cairo on Saturday morning. The Embassy of Sierra Leone in Egypt coordinated with conference organizers to ensure seamless logistical arrangements, including airport protocols, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation for the delegation.
