In a heartwarming display of compassion, Former Nation Revenue Authority (NRA) Commissioner Abu Kanneh showcased an extraordinary act of generosity towards the Sierra Leone People Party (SLPP) Chiefdom and Constituency Executive members in Pujehun District.
Coordinated by Alhaji Moijueh Kaikai, Kanneh extended his sincere goodwill by distributing essential food items and financial aid to these esteemed individuals on the cusp of the new year.
During this remarkable gesture, Kanneh gifted two bags of rice, two bags of onions, and two cartons of chicken, along with a half gallon of oil and Le500 to each SLPP Chiefdom Executive. Similarly, Constituency Executives were recipients of the same items and monetary support.
Mr. Kanneh’s benevolence didn’t stop there; all fourteen Paramount Chiefs in the district were also beneficiaries of his kindness. Each Paramount Chief received one bag of rice, one bag of onions, one cartoon of chicken, a half gallon of oil, and an additional Le500.
This recent demonstration of solidarity and care echoes Kanneh’s earlier act of altruism during the lead-up to the June 24th General Elections, where he mirrored this charitable effort by providing identical donations to these respected figures across the district.
Kanneh’s unwavering dedication to uplifting the community through such acts of kindness and support serves as a shining example, fostering unity and a shared sense of responsibility within Pujehun District.
