The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has announced that the deadline for individuals to file their PAYE (Pay As You Earn) and withholding tax returns is December 15, 2023. The NRA warned that late filers will face penalties.

“It is essential for all individuals to meet the deadline for filing their tax returns in order to stay current with their tax obligations and avoid any penalties,” said an NRA spokesperson. “We urge all taxpayers to take advantage of the online filing system and file their returns early to avoid any potential problems.”

The NRA also reminded taxpayers that they can make tax payments online, by phone, or at any of the NRA’s authorized agent banks.

“We encourage all taxpayers to pay their taxes on time to help ensure that the government has the resources it needs to meet the needs of all citizens,” said the spokesperson.

The NRA is committed to providing taxpayers with the information and resources they need to file their taxes accurately and on time. For more information, visit the NRA website at www.nra.gov.sl.
