The National Youth Commission (NYC) in Sierra Leone has expressed total commitment to promoting digital learning and skills development for the young people in the county.
They Commission maintained that, they are thrilled about the accomplishments of 101 young people who graduated from the Digital Learning Centre at NAYCOM’s Southern Regional Office in Bo, which is a very big boost in the youths’ empowerment scheme, adding that, the graduation ceremony is part of President Bio’s five pillars towards achieving Human Capital development.
They added that, Digital technology is a necessity and needed for sustainability, empowering gender equality and creating a safe platform for the youth of Sierra Leone.
NAYCOM extends its deepest gratitude to the Regional Coordinator South, Sorie Ibrahim Kabba and the team for their efforts in ensuring this graduation was a success.
As part of the plans to work in complementing the effort of the Government, NAYCOM has strongly maintained that they will continue to fulfil the promises made to young people in other parts of the country.
