Orange Sierra Leone Foundation has hosted a career day for girls as part of the commemoration of International Day of Girls in ICT at their Headquarters, Hill station.

Girls got to have a tour of the different departments within the building and also interact with the responsible directors.

As part of its commitment to ensuring girls have equal access and are safe online, the Orange Digital Center will hold a one-day virtual session for girls on how to safely create blog content and the art of being and staying safe online.

At the end of the day, there was a certification ceremony for the 40 girls who participated in the 2 day’s activity.

The world is now transformed into a global village due to massive technological advancement. The Commemoration or online safety training is timely and needed by the young generation but specifically Sierra Leonean girls.
