The Sierra Leone Parliamentary Press Gallery (SLPPG) has nursed a cognitive vision to stage its maiden awards ceremony and symposium on the 25th of April 2023, in recognition and appreciation of the outstanding contribution of nominated Members of Parliament, and Staff about performance towards oversight, lawmaking, and good representation and legislation under the Fifth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone.

The SLPPG Independent Award Committee headed by its Chairman Melvin Tejah Mansaray, Co-chairman Vincent Jabbie Momoh, and Committee Secretary, Mohamed Lucky Sesay among other committee members, would also recognize and appreciate nominated Ministries, Departments, and Agencies for their indelible support towards the Fifth Parliament of the Second Republic of Sierra Leone in terms of nationalistic legislations enacted under the auspices of the Speaker of the Fifth Parliament and the Clerk of the Fifth Parliament.
