Plan International has offered support to five youth-led organizations across the country. The support entails a grant boost to sustainable projects that range in different areas.

Ideal Technologies, one of the beneficiaries, is located in Bo district, Sierra Leone. This organization has passionate girls and young feminists (15-30) who are leading the charge to drive innovation for gender equality and tackle climate change & recycling waste.

Students with Special Needs FBC, another beneficiary is an exceptional organization that promotes inclusivity and advocates for gender equality through its projects.

Moyamba District Student Union is also part of the organization that benefits from the grant. Their project aims to create positive change and open doors for more young people in their communities.

Break the Silence organization & TYFER CLOSET Sierra Leone was another beneficiary. These two amazing initiatives are amplifying voices, promoting sustainability, and fighting for gender equality & climate action. Let’s support their dedication to a brighter future.

It was stated that these organizations will have access to the grant to push through with their different goals and aspirations as tenured in their organization’s vision. It is hoped that they will create a better, inclusive, and sustainable future, hand in hand with inspiring young leaders across the country.
