An opposition All People’s congress member of Parliament has been arrested by the Sierra Leone police for allegedly importing guns into the country.
Emmanuel Saidu Conteh of Constituency 129 was said to be arrested while he was bringing in a used car which when searched, ammunitions were found in.
The matter is currently being investigated at the Criminal Investigation Department CID in Freetown.
