The Sierra Leone Police (SLP), under the watchful eye of Inspector General William Fayia Sellu, has made some changes in the postings of some senior officers.
According to the Sierra Leone police the change is to effectively manage the affairs of the force.
AIG Kapr Saidu Kamara of Professional Standard PHQ goes as Training Director PHQ, AIG Aiah Edward Samadia REGPOL East is now Director Professional Standard PHQ, AIG Brima Kanneh Director Traffic Management shift to REGPOL South, AIG Sylvester M. N Koroma from PHQ Training Director to REGPOL West, CP Victor M. Williams from REGPOL West to Strategic Support to DIG, ACP John Martin Senessie Deputy Director OSD HQ to REGPOL East, ACP Dennis M. Taylor LUC Habour Division to LUC Aberdeen Division and CSP Emmanuel S. Kpulun LUC Aberdeen Division to LUC Habour Division.
However, the change of the AIG East came as welcome news to residents in the eastern part of Freetown.
According to reliable sources, a truckload of EDSA polls that was in the custody of the Regional Headquarters East office got missing mysteriously.
Meanwhile, some of those involved are at the CDIID and CID Headquarters respectively helping with the investigation.
All postings are with immediate effect.
