The Sierra Leone Police have officially dropped all allegations against 27-year-old Foday Merrytwoes Kamara Esq., who was previously under investigation and suspended while facing a potential murder charge.

Kamara had been accused of giving his girlfriend a substance believed to be ecstasy, which allegedly led to her death. The 23-year-old woman’s family had filed a formal complaint with the police, demanding a thorough investigation.

According to reports, the deceased had informed her roommate that Kamara had provided her with the pill. The family also claimed to possess electronic messages suggesting that Kamara encouraged both of them to take the drug.

Following the investigation, the Sierra Leone Police have cleared Kamara of all wrongdoing, concluding that there was insufficient evidence to support any criminal charges.

The decision ends the legal scrutiny against the lawyer, who has expressed relief at the outcome.
