Legal steps are now underway to stop Agriculture Minister, Dr. Abu Bakarr Karim from encroaching and grabbing two acres of land belonging to the Sierra Leone Police, Assemblies of God at No. 2 River and the Brown Marke families.

According to Momentum Press, the Minister who had earlier ignored a High Court Order to stop work on the land is now faced with an arrest warrant for any workman found on the site which had earlier been the subject of a court injunction restraining the Minister or his servants from carrying out any work at the site.

Despite repeated phone calls on his number, the minister could not be reached but replied a text message from our reporter that he has nothing to say and we should ask the former Lands Minister Dennis Sandy who could not be reached.
