The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has expressed concern over a series of social media publications that allegedly incite fear and threaten the peace and security of the nation.
In a statement issued recently, the SLP condemned the actions of individuals, reportedly residing abroad, who publish anonymous content designed to spread panic among the public.
The statement emphasized that such acts are seen as cowardly and potentially harmful to the country’s stability.
Despite these challenges, the SLP assured citizens that the nation’s security apparatus remains vigilant and capable of protecting all law-abiding individuals.

“The Security Sector of Sierra Leone is fully in charge and committed to safeguarding the peace and security of the country,” the statement affirmed.
The police encouraged members of the public to disregard inciteful and threatening content on social media, urging everyone to remain law-abiding and continue with their daily activities without fear.

That’s great 👍
