Former Information Minister of the main opposition APC and current Presidential Spokesman of the ruling SLPP Alpha Kanu has called on the youths of Port Loko to vote for president Bio and the SLPP in the upcoming June 24th general elections.

He made this statement during the new year’s celebration held to mark the beginning of the year.

He stated that president Bio deserves a second term because of the positive impacts he has impacted on the lives of Sierra Leoneans and to safeguard the Nation’s future.

He went further to address thousands of youths by stating that president Bio had leveraged his legendary integrity and acumen in managing resources, both human and material, to reinvent governance.

He went further and stressed that President Bio had delivered on the three campaign promises he made, which were: human capital development, fighting corruption, and prudent management of the economy in a time of the global economic crash.

“Today, under President Bio, Sierra Leoneans can dream and hope because he has rebranded governance and put the country on the path of sustainable growth and development”.

“He is investing in infrastructure and reinventing the most ambitious human capital development program in the history of the nation.”

He assures the youth with optimism that President Bio would be re-elected overwhelmingly, with over 60% of the total number of votes cast.
