President Bio has called for increased regional unity during a high-level meeting with Ivory Coast’s President, in Abidjan, emphasizing the importance of collaboration for stability and development in West Africa.
In his statement, President Bio affirmed the productive discussions focused on key issues impacting the West African subregion.
“We discussed important issues impacting our subregion and expressed our commitment to enhancing collaboration as a regional bloc,” he stated.
The meeting served as a platform for both leaders to address the pressing challenges facing the region. President Bio emphasized their shared dedication to fostering greater security, stability, and economic prosperity for all citizens.
“Our dialogue reflects our commitment to working together to ensure a more secure and prosperous West Africa,” he added, reflecting the importance of unity among ECOWAS member states.
