President Julius Maada Bio has appoint Mr. Moses Tiffa Baio as the new Director of Infrastructure- Presidential Delivery Unit in a letter from the office of the president dated 28th August 2023.

Baio was serving as the Director General at the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority before his new appointment.

Reacting to his appointment, Moses Tiffa Baio states ”New Challenges! New Dreams! New Opportunities! It’s a privilege and honour to be serving the government of President Julius Maada Bio to drive policies on infrastructure for economy development one of the Big Five Manifesto prioritises.
I remain greatful to God and His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio for entrusting me once again to champion one of his vision to transforming our country.

As a native coming from one of the most deplorable communities in Kenema District (Tungie Gorama Mende to be specific) I know first hand how critical good infrastructure is to economic growth and to enhancing the livelihood ofour people, be it for creating market access or linkages to farmers , tourism development, increasing air transport connectivity for domestic and international travels or health care delivery , provding electricity etc .
