The Consultant Station Manager of Radio Democracy 98.1 FM, Michael Kakpindi Jamiru, has officially resigned from his position, effective August 10, 2025.
Jamiru publicly disclosed the development on Thursday, August 28, 2025, nearly two weeks after his resignation took effect.
In his farewell message, he appealed for forgiveness from colleagues he may have offended during his time at the station.
“In the discharge of duty, I might have hurt colleagues. Please forgive me, as I have done the same,” he said.
As Consultant Station Manager, Jamiru’s role focused on providing external expertise to address operational challenges, improve efficiency, and support management in achieving organizational goals. His responsibilities also included research and analysis, developing solutions to complex problems, boosting revenue, managing staff, and ensuring smooth operations within the station.
