Popular Kenyan Hip Hop Rapper, Kaligraph Jones has arrived in Sierra Leone ahead of Kao Denero’s Back to my Roots festival which is scheduled on the 7th January, 2023 at Tokeh Beach.
Jones was pictured at the Lungi airport accompanied by Kao and other fans. Jones and Kao were at lyrical war in the past but it seems the two rappers have buried the hatchet as Papa Jones sets to perform in Kao’s upcoming All Face Value Event. However, the two rappers are all claiming to be the best in Africa.
Brian Ouko Omollo, popularly known by his stage name Khaligraph Jones and often referred to as Papa Jones, is a Kenyan rapper known for his hit singles “Mazishi” and “Yego”.He released his debut full-length studio album Testimony 1990 in June 2018.
Jones was born and raised in Kayole, a neighbourhood in Nairobi, Kenya.
His mother gave him the name Ouko Robert in honour of the late Kenyan politician Dr Robert Ouko, who was assassinated on 13 February 1990.
