Popular Sierra Leonean female Rapper Natasha Beckley has promised to release an album each year to prove her worth as an established rapper.
Rapper Natasha Beckley, stage name Swadu has said that she is working so hard, she will be dropping an album each year. She was being interviewed at Bright FM Abuja on channel 98.7 by Agatha Ike Odeyemi.
She explained that established rappers such as Meek Mill, Nas and more can boast of what they have due to their originating continent which isn’t the same situation as hers in the African continent. She went on to say rappers like Sarkodie, Khaligraph, Laj, Magnito and their likes are those whose talents she can relate to, have been inspired by and have incorporated into her own original sound.
She likened her work ethics to that of a slave to the extent that she has been questioned about her sleeping patterns to which her response has been that she won’t sleep when there is much to be done.
She concluded that the first rule to understand by her love partner is that they will have music and her love for it, to contend with.
