Sierra Leone’s special Enjoy for Entertainment and Investment, Amara Denis Turay popularly known as Kao Denero has threw shots at fellow rapper after the latter asked his name be taken off the list of guest artistes for ‘Back to My Root’ festival.
Drama ensured on Friday when Kao Denero released a list of musicians that has been invited for the ‘Back to My Root’ festival scheduled to take place on 7th May, 2022. Boss, Colabo, Emmerson among others were on this list.
However, it in a swift reaction, Boss La took to Facebook and urged the organizers to remove his name while describing the list as comedy and witchcraft.
“Duya r jus see a list of artists names wae suppose for perform per back to my root festival n me name dae among d names plz duya leh we lef dis comedy n santem witch 😂😂Una pull me name dae 😂😂me tawaka”, he posted.
Boss La and Kao Denero who have a large fan base have a long history as rivals. But the RFM Rapper’s comment suggest there is no end in sight of their fued.
While reacting on Saturday, Kao Denero sent back shots at Boss La insinuating that the ‘Complain’ crooner has reading and comprehension problems.
“Reading and comprehending shouldn’t be so difficult lol. My press release stated we are sending the names mentioned an invite for May 7th,an invite. Why should stating names of who we are sending official letters to be such a fiasco ? The letters will be out on Monday.
“Some artist have already approved before even receiving the letter of invite. If you have an issue with the BACK TO MY ROOT festival that means you have an issue with your country itself. Not me. Official flyer drops today with another one to follow with all confirmed acts. Thanks”. Kao Denero wrote.
