There has been great progress in the transformation of the 34 Military hospital to a medical city in Freetown.

Presently the construction work going on includes:

1. 500 bed Hospital

2. Ultra modern center of Excellence with
underground parking

3. Nursing School

4 Dedicated womens and men’s ward

5. Planned medical school

According to recent pictures taken from the construction site, the engineers are working effectively and there has been three structures erupted already.

From the pictures, we can see that one of the buildings is almost at the completion stage and the two others are in the frame stages.

And with the much hard work going on day and night at the site, this project will be finished in no time.

Kudos to the first lady of Sierra Leone, Madam Fatima Bio who is championing the reconstruction of the 34 hospital.

The whole project is powered by her and according to her, there has been no funds from the government and non governmental organizations so far.
