On Wednesday 4th January 2023, the newly transferred Regional Crime Officer Freetown-East Detective Superintendent Francis Ben Lebbie held a familiarization meeting with his personnel at the Harbour Police Division.
Personnel representing various units introduced themselves and Deputy Inspector. Abubakarr A. Mansaray (Head of Operations Regional CID) introduced the new RCO as a result-oriented leader and also a team player.
Addressing the personnel, the new RCO expressed his satisfaction with the turnout and gave a brief historical background of himself including his challenges.
He reminded his personnel to utilize their time wisely and have the fear of God. He urged his personnel to always remember that they are representing their family, the SLP, and the country as a whole whenever they are executing their duties, and to always avoid things that will bring the force into disrepute.
He concluded by urging his personnel to adopt and practice coordination and communication to attain success.
Several concerns were raised by the various personnel which the new RCO promised to look into, and D/Insp. Charles Campbell thanked the RCO and assured him that personnel are ready to work with him to attain success and promote the image of the SLP.
