The Chief Minister of Sierra Leone, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, has reaffirmed the critical role of creatives and entertainers in promoting peace, unity, and economic development during “The Reset, An Evening with Creatives.”
The event brought together artists, DJs, MCs, comedians, models, filmmakers, producers, and other stakeholders from the creative industry for an inspiring exchange of ideas and experiences.
Dr. Sengeh expressed profound appreciation to the sponsors of the event and to those supporting the creative sector with what he described as “electric energy” that fueled meaningful engagement throughout the night.

Chief Minister Sengeh commended creatives and entertainers for their immense contribution to fostering peace, strengthening national unity, and driving economic opportunities across Sierra Leone.
He noted that the creative industry remains a powerful force for positive social change, youth empowerment, and national cohesion.
Dr. Sengeh also acknowledged calls from participants to expand such engagements nationwide, assuring them that their messages and requests had been heard.

“What an incredible evening with creatives and entertainers (artists, DJs, MCs, comedians, models, film makers, producers, etc). Thank you, Africell, AYV, and Pour Moi,” he stated.
He concluded by stating, “Thank you, the creatives and entertainers, for your incredible contribution to the peace, unity, and economic development of Sierra Leone. I have heard your messages and requests to do more of this right across the country.”
