Senior government officials from Ghana have yesterday confirmed to this medium that the sacked Sierra Leone” Vice President, Alhaji Samuel Sam sumana, upon arrival in Ghana has been accorded a Vice President status by the Ghanaian government.

According to them, the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, who played host to the sacked Sierra Leone’s Vice President after been publicly humiliated and disgraced by government officials at the Lungi International Airport, following orders from above, to further prevent him from leaving the shores of Freetown with a diplomatic passport, was reported to have been received by senior government officials including the Vice President of Ghana.

The former Vice President also described the government action as a “calculated ploy” to subject him to public ridicule, because since his removal from office, he has not received any letter from neither the Minister of Internal Affairs, nor the Chief Immigration boss, instructing him to hand over his diplomatic passport, and therefore, he was surprised to face such an embarrassment at the Lungi International Airport on orders from above.

However, a close source to the Ghanaian government has authoritatively confirmed to The Times SL that the former Vice President who was very much bitter against the Ernest Bai Koroma APC led government for what he described as “political witch hunt” to get him out of power, has without any iota of fear exposes the alleged Ernest Bai Koroma led APC Government underground plans to remain in power for the third term.

According to the source, the sacked Sierra Leone Vice President who has made it categorically clear to the Ghanaian government that, he intend filing a legal lawsuit at the Ecowas Court to seek further interpretation of the country’s National Constitution, which in his estimation was completely breached by the President and circumvented by the Country’s Supreme Court, said because of his rebuttal to support such a move by the government for obvious reasons, he was branded as a willfully perjured individual, void of all moral worth to remain serving in the APC government.
