Former Vice President of Sierra Leone Dr. Alhaji Samuel SamSumana on Sunday 4th August, 2024 joined dignitaries and sympathizers across the country, especially the All People’s Congress (APC) in the Burial ceremony of his counterpart, former Vice President Dr. Abdulai Conteh.

It was stated that the late man death is a colossal loss for Sierra Leone, and he will be vividly remembered for his tireless and effortless contributions to the APC Party and Sierra Leone as a whole.

As compatriots Chief SamSumana’s solemnity was well resonated in his attendance as one having served in the same capacity as a Vice President of this great republic.

It was reported that there was criticism by attendees on the late man’s burial ceremony for not being honoured with a civic ceremony; considering his contributions in the country.

The burial ceremony was held at the Soso Central Mosque and interment was at the Kissy Road Cemetery
Dr. Abdulai Conteh was a one-time Member of Parliament, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Constitutional Lawyer and Former Vice President of Sierra Leone.

Sierra Leone’s history can never be explained without mentioning the late Dr Abdulai Conteh’s good works for the democracy of Sierra Leone.
