The 2018 Presidential flagbearer for All People’s Congress (ACPC) party; Dr. Mathew Wilson Kamara, Secretary General; Osman Foday Yansaneh and other stakeholders spotted at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to plead for the release of the party’s Spokesperson, Sidi Yayah Tunis.

Sidi Yayah Tunis was invited by the Sierra Leone Police at CID yesterday 8th February, 2022 for questioning. His invitation was in connection with some utterances he made during an interview on Radio Democracy 98.1FM that bear some inciting words. According to the police, his words undermined state and national security.

He was detained at CID and spent the night there. According to sources, he was suppose to be released at 3:00 PM but he is still in detention. However, Dr. Samura Kamara, Osman Foday Yansaneh and others were spotted at CID to plead for his release.
