The Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi has given out general news and the security updates in the country.

In his statement, he maintained that, they are still observing the security status in the country and the security forces are well prepared and in their gears to protect the people of Sierra Leone.

He updated the public on the activities that have unfolded in the country and how they have tried as a government to have things work for the people the country.

He furthered that, many authorities have condemned the attempted coup on the 26th November 2023 and several plans are in place to have the lives and properties of every sierra Leonean secured as ECOWAS has also sent a security mission to Sierra Leone that will help in stabilising the peace of the country.

He thanked everyone for being very proactive in maintaining the peace of the nation and trusting the security forces in the job to protect the country at all times.
