The Second Chance Foundation that has been greatly struggling for a way to get their legal status in the country through its CEO Prezo Koroma.
The Foundation has finally got the status but with its name changed for obvious reasons.
The foundation with its old name “second chance” has been working hard to secure the release of inmates from correctional centres in the country on a free-based charitable basis with donation from different partners.
The name has been changed from the Second Chance Foundation to Final Chance Charity, but its mandates and operations still remains the same in aiding the poor and the needy especially the prison inmates to get their freedom.
The message from the CEO reads: After going through a lot of hurdles with the registration of the SECOND CHANCE FOUNDATION for the past three months, we finally got to change the name to FINAL CHANCE CHARITY. The mission and vision stay the same. As a Charity organization, we remain committed to serving and seeking the well-being of Inmates across various Correctional Centres in Sierra Leone.
Thanks and appreciation to Golden Ray Designs for designing the logo at no cost”
