The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Segepoh Solomon Thomas, has visited the construction of 10 mobile offices being built for Members of Parliament.
During his visit, the Speaker checked the progress and said he is pleased with the pace at which the work is going.
These mobile offices are being set up to provide more space and better working conditions for Members of Parliament. They are temporary office units designed to support daily parliamentary work, especially as the number of members has grown.

The project is supported by the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone. In 2024, the embassy provided funding to help Parliament improve its working facilities.

Speaker Thomas thanked the embassy for the support and reminded all partners assisting the government that all contributions must be formally presented in Parliament, as required by law.
Construction is still ongoing, and workers are continuing their efforts.
