In response to mounting grievances from residents of Pujehun District regarding delayed projects, Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, a native of the district, has taken decisive action.
He recently held discussions with the Minister of Finance and the Head of First Tricon Company to address the concerns, particularly focusing on road construction initiatives.
The Chief Minister assured the populace that significant strides would be made to expedite project completion. By June, it is anticipated that all aspects of the Bandajuma Pujehun Road construction project, except for the bridge connecting Pujehun and Gobaru, will be finalized. To facilitate this, payments will be accelerated, and construction will commence promptly.
In a strategic shift, construction efforts will prioritize Gobaru, where the population density is higher, rather than distant areas with fewer inhabitants. On behalf of the government and the company, Chief Minister Sengeh appealed to residents for patience and understanding, emphasizing the government’s commitment to swiftly finishing vital infrastructure projects.
This proactive approach by the Chief Minister reflects a concerted effort to address the concerns of Pujehun District’s residents and ensure that development initiatives proceed with efficiency and efficacy.
