During the Ministry of Information and Civic Education’s Press Conference held on October 24, 2023, the Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA), Musayeroh Barrie, announced some remarkable achievements in the country’s aviation sector.
Ms. Barrie revealed that Sierra Leone has achieved a commendable safety rate of 72% and a security rating of 71%.
She remarked, “the country’s safety rate stands at 72% and security is 71% which is higher than some of the established states in the region. She promised to work on that solid foundation to improve the civil aviation sector.”
