Churches in Sierra Leone are expected to mark the country’s last Sunday under Ebola as nation braces up for end of the outbreak on 7 November.

The country has gone 35 days with no new cases of Ebola since the last victim was discharged.

According to the The Ministry of Health and Sanitation, the country recorded over 8,000 confirmed cases since the epidemic outbreak over one year ago.

Just 3days ago, there was panic in Freetown after a Man with Ebola symptoms collapsed on the road. However, it was later confirmed to be an Ulcer case.

With just 7 days to go, if no cases are confirmed, Sierra Leone will be declared Ebola free by the World Health Organisation – (WHO)
