In an effort to to discuss ways of developing cooperation between their armed forces, Egypt and Sierra Leone held their first military cooperation committee meeting at Cairo, Egypt.
Sierra Leone’s Deputy Minister of Defence, Muana Brima Massaquoi, who is visiting Egypt currently as part of the activities of the committee meeting, met with Egypt’s Chief of Staff Osama Askar.
Massaquoi highlighted the relations binding Egypt and Sierra Leone, hailing the Egyptian efforts to support security and stability in Africa, according to a statement by the Egyptian Military Spokesman Gharib Abdel Hafez on Thursday.
A number of army commanders from both countries attended the meeting.
