Under the leadership of His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio and the Minister of tourism Memunatu Pratt, Sierra Leone to host 600 Participants on November 8th 2022 in the BUDAPEST BAMAKO-FREETOWN RALLY.

In a Press Conference held in the Ministry Conference Hall, the General Manager gave a brief background on the launching of the Budapest Bamako-Freetown Rally by the First lady Fatima Maada Jabie Bio.

The Minister of Internal Affairs said Sierra Leoneans should brace up to receive the second coming of 600 Participants in the Budapest Bamako-Freetown Rally, which he said Sierra Leone is one of the most peaceful and stouristtry for tourist destinations.

In her welcoming address, the proactive Minister of Tourism and cultural affairs Dr Memunatu Pratt said the second coming of the Budapest Bamako-Freetown Rally is welcoming news for sierra Leoneans and worth a great opportunity as the Ministry will receive the 600 Tourists on different ground styles. In the past four(4) years Dr Memunatu Pratt and their team have undergone so many transformations and recognition in the Sierra Leone Tourism Sector which has been awarded as one of the best Tourist destination countries in Africa.

In 2019, Sierra Leone hosted 700 Tourists with 227 Vehicles in the Budapest Bamako-Freetown really, and this year November 8th 2022 His Excellency President Bio, First Lady Fatima Maada Bio and the Minister Tourism Dr Memunatu Pratt will host 600 participants(Tourists) under the Tourism Sector due to the tremendous effort and transformation made so far in our Tourism Sector by H.E President Bio and Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs Dr Memunatu Pratt.

Early April 2022, Sierra Leone was awarded among 50 countries in the world as the best Tourist destination country by a recognised and credible United States(US) Based organisation.
