Sierra Leone has joined the Canada-Africa chamber of business in strengthening the tie between the two countries following the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the 2025 Sierra Leone-Canada Trade, investment and cultural show.
This tie is intended to build strong strategic entryway for Sierra Leone’s embassy and High commission to tight Canada business networks, trade and investment opportunities.
Canadian officials welcome Sierra Leone into the folding praising the country’s Canadian investment growth. “Sierra Leone is positioning itself as a dynamic partner in Africa’s investment landscape,” the Canadian representative said. “Canadian companies are well-placed to collaborate in mining, clean technologies, and public sector innovation.” He continues.
The partnership will benefits both Sierra Leone and Canada as it create ways to expand the market access, knowledge exchange, and joint ventures to foster the long-term partnership.
