With the trending migration issues exiting our brothers and sisters from Countries in Africa with different reasons legally or illegally, many concerned institutions and Pan Africanists have varieties of resolutions to the emerging issues for which ‘’ The New Tourist’’ documented some African countries with the highest migration net rate in 2022.

In the concluded research done by ‘’ The New Tourist’’, Sierra Leone is placed at the 7th position out of 13 countries that took the lead in 2022.

They further traced the history of migration back to the 1900s following the discovery of pressures minerals, given the net migration of individuals from Sierra Leone in 2020 at 11.3 %.

The report further stated that, the net migration rate of Sierra Leone falls gradually from 28/1000 in 1971 to 2/1000 in 2022 which simply means that the number of people who leaves Sierra Leone to settle permanently in another countries is less than the number of people who move into the country in order to settle there as permanent residents.
