Sierra Leoneans in the US to Demonstrate Against President Bio

Some Sierra Leoneans identifying as Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide will be staging a demonstration against President Julius Maada Bio and his government at the UN Headquarters in New York.

Report indicates the group will be protesting against what they perceive to be “rigging of the June 24 elections, human rights abuses and killings being committed by the Bio SLPP Government”.

Melrose Thomas, a member of the group told Cocorioko that the demonstration is to let the world know “the atrocities President Bio continues to commit” against citizens of his country.

Thomas claimed that Bio has killed more people than in any other president in the country.

Another member of the group, Musa Sesay, said their intent is for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to issue a warrant of arrest for Bio.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that members of the SLPP will also be staging an anti-demonstration against Concerned Sierra Leoneans.

Some SLPP members in North America also accused planners of the demonstration to be from the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) but the leadership of the group denied the allegations.

Bio is in New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) starting tomorrow, 19 September. World leaders and other top diplomats are already in New York for the gathering.

Foday conteh your name shows that you either a Temne or limba which makes me feel that your caption is wrong and should be corrected as concerned, disgruntled, useless, jobless and alaki APC supporters in the us, rather than lying that they are concerned Sierra Leoneans. There is a big difference between Sierra Leoneans and APC supporters in terms of character and behaviour. You need to know this.

APC does not know how to move world leaders in their favour. This time you have failed because president Bio is unshakable and no amount of protest will move him. You are just disgracing yourselves as APC in the US. Your demonstration will not have any impact on the rulership of president Bio. Spend your whole life messing with yourselves and wasting your time on reckless demonstrations. The earlier you adjust to the reality that president Bio is unshakable, the better for you and you failed jihadist party APC. Aren't you ashamed of yourselves. If you have evidence of election rigging, go to court and present your case but you know that you have no evidence to your claim which means you are congenital liars. Describe yourselves as disgruntled APC members and not Sierra Leoneans. Because real patriotic Sierra Leonean will never and can never behave this way. This is the handwork of the APC team A. See that useless man asking for a warrant for President Bio. I don't blame those idiots, it's because APC by then used our resources to send them where they are today. Most of them are not even helping their family. If they mean well for the demonstration, let them come to SL and demonstrate there. APC, the peace you have not given to the people of SL now, will not be given to you when you are fortunate enough to lead the country one day.
