The management of Sierra Rutile Holding Limited has announced an extension of the temporary suspension for all staff until further notice. The decision, was communicated through a staff memo from the Board and Management.

The memo, addressed to all staff members, outlines the extension of the temporary suspension, which means that operations will not resume on the previously anticipated date of April 11th.

The Board and Management expressed their commitment to keeping employees informed of any developments as negotiations progress.

In the memo, the Board and Management stated, “The Board and Management of Sierra Rutile wishes to inform all our staff that there will be an extension of our temporary suspension until further notice. This means that we will not be resuming operations on the 11th of April as initially anticipated”

“Our negotiations with the Government of Sierra Leone are ongoing, and we hope to resolve this shortly. In the meantime, we will keep you informed of any developments.”
