Communications Strategist, Imran Sillah Speaks on SLPP’s Stance on Asset Declaration
Salamatu Y. Kamara During a recent appearance on the AYV Sunday program, Imran Sillah, the Communications Strategist at the Ministry of Information and Communication, discussed the SLPP’s stance on public asset declaration and President Bio’s views on the matter.
According to Mr. Sillah, President Bio is fully prepared to declare his assets publicly, and he believes that doing so is more beneficial than simply declaring to the Anti-Corruption Commission, as required by law.
Mr. Sillah suggested that the SLPP should collaborate with civil society organizations to promote a public discussion on asset declaration.
He also stated that the SLPP and President Bio are committed to making asset declaration a public law during their second term.
