The ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has announced the winners of three other National Positions of the party at the National Convention in Bo Town.
After electing His Excellency Brigadier Julius Maada Bio, President of the Republic of Sierra Leone as flagbearer for 2023 general elections and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Lahai Lawrence Leema as National Public Relations Officer, the party has announced other three winners to occupy National Positions of the party.
Robert Kowa was elected as Legal 1 after securing 566 votes over Hindolo Ngevao who secured 499 votes. Fouad Sheriff announced as the winner of Imam with 406 votes and defeated Mohamed Kallon with 399 votes and Vandy Davowa with 206 votes. The party also announced Francis Lahai as the party’s Chaplain after securing 439 votes over Dwight French who got 374 votes and E.B. Tombo Kallon with 175 votes.
The party has announced the former President of the Bar Association, Robert Kowa as the winner of Legal 1, former Chairman of NATCOM, Mohamed Fouad Sheriff winner of Imam and Deputy Managing Director of Guma Valley Water Company, Francis Lahai winner of Chaplain for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP).
