The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA) has informed stakeholders and the public through a public notice that severe rainfall occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, May 10, 2023, causing significant damage to the equipment and electrical installations at their Kissy Road offices.
Due to this unfortunate event, SLRSA has temporarily suspended its operations until further notice.
During this period, the management is actively working to assess the extent of the damage and is diligently clearing the large amount of debris and contaminated mud water that entered our compound as a result of the heavy rain.
Furthermore, SLRSA assures that necessary measures are being taken to restore power to our facility and resume operations as soon as possible.
On behalf of the Board and management, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this interruption to our services.
