The Lead Defence Lawyer for Abdul Kpaka, Emmanuel Teddy Koroma  Esq has clarified that contrary to rumor’s making the rounds, their client has not entered into insanity plea.

He made the clarification on the 28th August,2024 in the case between the State Vs Abdul kpaka at the Magistrate Court #2 during  a Preliminary investigation.

In the said case, I8 Lawyers represented the accused and Lawyer Joan Bull represented the State as the Prosecuting counsel.

Meanwhile, one of the defence Lawyers Alfred Kamanda has called for Public restraint in making statements regarding the ongoing trial. The Lawyer emphasized the importance of allowing Judicial process to proceed without undue influence from public commentary.

The accused Abdul Kpaka, was charged with murder for the death of Sia Fatu Kamara.

The hearing was adjourned to the 4th of September at the request of the prosecuting counsel for more time to look into the evidence.
