I want to take this singular honor on behalf of the people of Koinadugu District, to thank God Almighty for making this day possible for all us to witness this epoch-making historical event.

I also want to use this opportunity to thank the leadership of the mighty APC party and its entire membership both home and in the diaspora for their relentless and tireless support in bringing victory to not only our party but to the people of Koinadugu and democracy in general.

Today is a very big day for democracy as the great people of (The Land of Powerful Mixture), Koinadugu District, have clearly demonstrated that despite all the threats, intimidation and violence perpetuated by our brothers on the other side, they are not cowards. They came out in their thousands and voted solidly for the mighty APC party. Thank you all!

I want to pay special tribute to all those fallen heroes of our party in Koinadugu District, people like Chairman Momoh Konteh (The bulldozer), Chairman Alex Sorie Conteh, Chairlady Musu Kawusu Konteh, Serah Kallay, Chairman Dr. Fasineh Samura, Chairman Pa Gibateh, Chairman Alhaji Beavogui, Chairman Pa Sayma Mansaray, Hon. K.M Kargbo, Councillor Kumar, Councillor Janneh, and many others whose names couldn’t be mentioned.  For without the solid foundation they laid for us, this victory shouldn’t have been made possible. May God Almighty give them all heaven.

Special thanks to the All Peoples Congress party for the trust and confidence they reposed on me for awarding me the party’s symbol to run for such a high profiled position as Chairman Koinadugu District Council. I want to assure you that, I will not let you down but will live up to their expectations as the bar they set is very high.

I want to continue to encourage all our supporters and well-wishers to remain calm and peaceful even as we celebrate this victory.

The battle has been won and I want to continue to assure you that, we shall continue to win and win and win and win again until 2028! Tolongbo!

I cannot end my speech without saluting my able Chairman Dr. Kaifala Marah, Dr. S. S Marah, (The Gallant Soja) and Saidu Jabbie JABS (The New Bulldozer).  Respect to you ALL!
