Media One Centre that owned Star Radio and Star TV has disgracefully sacked popular radio and TV presenter, Ambassador Mohamed Basiru Sanusi popularly known as Ambassador Bash after 7 years of service.
According to the Station Manager, Patricia Ganda, the management eliminated Ambassador Bash due to financial constraints of the station. She added that, the Station has been facing financial difficulties due to lack of work in the industry. To meet the financial stability of the company, they have to eliminate some positions which affected Ambassador Bash.
Ambassador Bash was the Head of Programs/Entertainment on Star Radio and TV. He was the host for popular programmes Youth Encounter and Star Good Morning Show both on the radio and Tv. Ambassador Bash is also known for empowering youth and also participating in youth programmes like sports, events and entertainment activities.
His sacked letter was published on Standard Times Newspaper which brought the attention of Sierra Leoneans on social media. Many Sierra Leoneans bashed at Media One Centre for publishing the sacked letter of the popular presenter. According to them, Media One Centre behaved unprofessionally for publishing the letter.
With strong faith, Ambassador bashed shared the letter on his Facebook page with the caption;
“4 Sabi di Chief nor mean say unu 2 na Padi!
