The Office of the President has issued an urgent disclaimer regarding a fraudulent investment platform known as “AfriQuantumX,” which is currently circulating on social media using a manipulated video of President Julius Maada Bio.
Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Esq., Press Secretary to the President, released a statement categorically denying that President Bio has launched, endorsed, or made any statements supporting the platform.
According to the Press Secretary, the video circulating on the “News 24/7” platform is “entirely fake and generated through artificial intelligence technology.”
The fabricated promotion claims that President Bio introduced AfriQuantumX as a “national investment initiative” to help citizens combat inflation and secure financial stability. The scam urges the public to invest Le 5,800 to earn “real income,” falsely asserting that the platform is government-regulated and designed to protect families from rising prices.

Sandi condemned the campaign as a “deliberate misrepresentation designed to mislead citizens.”
“I strongly advise the public against trusting or engaging with this platform,” Sandi stated. “Such actions are harmful, unethical, and potentially unlawful, eroding public trust and causing confusion.”
The Office of the President has publicly called upon News 24/7, AfriQuantumX, and any associated parties to immediately cease and desist from using President Bio’s name and image. Citizens are advised to verify all financial initiatives through official government channels before making financial decisions.
