Statistics gives latest updates on the ongoing Mid-term Population and Housing Census – 16th December, 2021.

Statistics informs the general public that the enumeration of households continues across the country.

Statistics notes that there are resistance towards the enumeration in certain communities but however urges people to cooperate with enumerators.

Statistics commends the Office of National Security and the Sierra Leone Police at Karene District for conducting a meeting with the District Officials and other MDAs with the purpose of raising awareness for Census participation.

Statistics Sierra Leone continues to urge the public and all institutions to welcome our enumerators and be counted for better planning.

Statistics assures the general public that field staff continue to sync collected data to Statistics Headquarters in Freetown.
