The Office Assistant, named Vandi Sheka to the Speaker of Parliament; Dr. Abass Chernor Bundu, Samuel Abu Bakarr Kamara bike rider and Gbassay Sesay 1st year student of Unimtech Dockyard, Freetown studying logistics and procurement on Wednesday 5th October 2022, appeared before Magistrate Isata Sellu Tucker of Court No. 2 Pademba Road, Freetown on two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to law and larceny contrary to the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the charge sheet, count 1, the accused persons, Vandi Sheka, Samuel Abu Bakarr Kamara and Gbassay Sesay on Monday 12th September 2022, at Parliament, Tower Hill, Freetown, conspired together with other person’s unknown to commit a felony to wit larceny.

 

Count 2 states the accused persons on the same date and place stole one blue TVS motor bike with registration number AUB 824 valued at Fifteen Thousand Leones, property of Mohamed Yusuf Turay. No bail was granted. The accused persons have been remanded in custody until 12th October 2022. Sergeant 622 Memunatu Kandeh Sesay is Prosecuting the matter.
