On the morning of August 6, thieves reportedly broke into the Regent Village Headman’s Office in Freetown, vandalizing the premises in the process.
The break-in is believed to have occurred during the night, with the perpetrators gaining access through a window. Among the stolen properties was a Dell 7th Generation laptop belonging to Lawrence Mac George, along with several assorted items.
This break-in marks yet another incident at the headman office, raising significant concerns among community members about ongoing security issues. In light of the repeated thefts, residents are urging the police to investigate and take action to address the worrying trend affecting their community.
