Sierra Leone’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Alhaji Timothy Musa Kabba, has arrived in Astana for a week-long working visit.
The visit comes at the invitation of Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Murat Nurtleu.
Accompanying Minister Kabba are Madam Augusta Jamiatu Akibo-Jones, Director of Europe, and Dr. David Sidikie Yambasu, Senior Technical Adviser to the Ministry. The delegation was warmly welcomed at the airport by Sierra Leone’s non-resident Ambassador to Kazakhstan, H.E. Mohamed Yongawo, along with Mr. Ibrahim Saspo Sankoh, the Head of Chancery, and the Information Attaché from the Sierra Leone Embassy in Moscow, Russian Federation.
Throughout the visit, Minister Kabba and his delegation will engage with various ministries, agencies, and business sectors in Astana. Their discussions will focus on further strengthening the bilateral relations between Sierra Leone and Kazakhstan, while seeking opportunities for cooperation across different sectors.
