The Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, has welcomed the United Nations Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs, Dr. Felipe Paullier, to Sierra Leone.
According to a statement from the ministry, Dr. Paullier’s visit aims to strengthen partnerships and advance opportunities for young people in areas including youth leadership, economic inclusion, innovation, and global engagement.
Minister Sannoh described the visit as a reflection of a renewed spirit of cooperation and a shared commitment to youth development.



He noted that Sierra Leone is emerging as a significant voice in youth-centered policy reform within the sub-region and stated that the visit reaffirms international confidence in the country’s young population.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs reaffirmed its commitment to fostering partnerships that provide young Sierra Leoneans with platforms to thrive locally and compete globally.
