The United States Embassy in Freetown has lauded the leadership of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and the All Peoples Congress Party (APC) for their commitment to the post-election dialogue.
This move is seen as a significant step towards ensuring peaceful coexistence and fostering national development in Sierra Leone.
The embassy conveyed its satisfaction with the proceedings overseen by the Independent Commission for Peace and National Cohesion. It was highlighted that they were actively involved in closely observing the process, ensuring its transparency and effectiveness.
The U.S. representatives expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to be present at the opening session of the ceremony. The session witnessed the Government of Sierra Leone, represented by Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, and the main opposition party, APC, led by their June 24th, 2023 General Elections Presidential Candidate, Samura Kamara.
The embassy praised the dedication displayed by both leaders in seeking resolutions to Sierra Leone’s political deadlock. Their efforts are seen as a potential way to usher in inclusive governance and further solidify democratic principles for the benefit of all Sierra Leoneans.
Moreover, the U.S. Embassy took the opportunity to urge both parties to ensure the dialogue culminates in positive outcomes that align with the developmental aspirations of every citizen in Sierra Leone.
Hope the outcome will be successful, it’s time to forget about politics and move forward.

The president has a lot of things he’s addressing. The Chief Minister holds a higher office compared to Dr. Samura Kamara. But they’re both Humans, so show some Respect.

we hope to have positive response from the international bodies because we all know that slpp stole the result so let give what belong to the APC
If only they are there for Sierra Leone, they must do what Sierra Leoneans want. You cannot force yourself to lead people. If so, what’s the purpose of elections?

Why are they afraid to go for a re run with all the bogus words of maad Bio being more popular than his political counterpart?

Sierra Leoneans remember king Saul in the bible when he went after young David whom God blessed, to kill David, God make sure all king Saul families were killed, king Saul commited suicide, except one criple grandson left, and king David show love to that criple young man kindness until he died. Because of the love Jonathan showed to king David. Whatever is happening as dialogue , it is not man doing it, it because of those of us who are praying for peace and betterments for sierra leone, seeking God guidence for sierra leone, so God is answering our prayers. Why Mr konneh fails to produced the disaggregated data by polling stations? Konneh and his team, what are they hiding? Who are they working for? You can take the horse to the river but you cannot force him to swim. The majority didn’t in favour with Bio let he give what belong to Samura or we go into re-run election. Their is a difference between rigging and thief 😀😀😀😀😀😀2018 election was regied and the two parties sign on the document also local and international observer’s before declaration while 2024 was stolen with no signatory on the result announced by Mr Med. As it’s stated by EU final reports that no party has 55% that’s why no congarts from any international bodies.
